তিনি তার উদ্বোধনী ভাষণে বলেন উত্তর দিনাজপুর সবদিক দিয়ে পিছিয়ে থাকলেও শিক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে সব থেকে এই জেলা অন্যান্য জেলা থেকে অনেক পিছিয়ে আছে।আমরা আমাদের নর্থ বেঙ্গল এলিট কলেজের মাধ্যমে এই এলাকার মেধাবী ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের আহ্বান জানাচ্ছি তারা দুই বছরের এই ফার্মেসি কোর্সের শিক্ষা নিয়ে ভবিষ্যতে তারা কিছু একটা জীবিকার সন্ধান পাবার সুযোগ করে নিতে পারবে।মহম্মদ আবুল কালাম বলেন তাদের তাদের নর্থ বেঙ্গল এলিট একাডেমী এই অঞ্চলে দীর্ঘদিন থেকে ডি এল এড কলেজ চালিয়ে আসছে।
