প্রকৃতির রোষের মুখে যখন মানুষ পড়েছে তখনই সে বুঝতে পেরেছে যে, সে কতটা অসহায়। আজ সমগ্র মানব জাতি ঘোর বিপদের সম্মুখীন। নভেল করোনা যেভাবে তার ভয়াল রূপ নিয়ে আমাদের সম্মুখীন হয়েছে তাতে এভাবে চলতে থাকলে অতি শীঘ্রই পৃথিবী পরিণত হবে শশ্মানভূমিতে। চীন,আমেরিকা,লন্ডন,ইতালির মতো বিশ্বের উন্নত দেশগুলিও আজ ভীত সন্ত্রস্থ ।

অথচ এই ভাইরাসকে আমরা সকলে মিলিত হয়ে সকলের প্রচেষ্টার মাধ্যমেই প্রশমিত করতে পারবো। এর জন্য দরকার সমাজের সকল স্তরের মানুষকে নভেল করোনা সম্পর্কে সচেতন করে তোলা। আর এরকমই এক মহৎ উদ্দেশ্য নিয়ে করণদিঘি ব্লকের প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামগুলিতে ঘুরে ঘুরে করোনা সম্পর্কে সচেতনতার আলো পৌঁছে দিচ্ছেন ‘টুঙ্গিদিঘী বিবেকান্দ এডুকেশনাল অ্যান্ড সোস্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার ট্রাস্টের অধীনস্থ অ্যাসে ইন্ডিয়ান মডেল স্কুলের ৪০জন শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা এবং অশিক্ষক কর্মী বৃন্দ। তারা তাদের ১০ খানা গাড়িতে বিভক্ত হয়ে পৌঁছে যাচ্ছে

বোতলবাড়ি, সাবধান, দোয়ারিণ, কামাত, রসাখোয়া, পারগাঁও, করণদিঘি এলাকার প্রত্যন্ত গ্রামগুলির প্রতিটি বাড়িতে। বাড়িতে বাড়িতে গিয়ে তারা মানুষদের সচেতন করছে যে কীভাবে করোনার সংক্রমণ থেকে বাঁচা যায়। কীভাবে ২ ঘন্টা পর পর স্যানিটাইজার বা সাবান দিয়ে হাত ধুতে হবে, মাস্ক এর সঠিক ব্যবহার, ভিড় থেকে দূরে থাকা, নাক-মুক-চোখে অকারণে হাত না দেওয়া,সর্দি কাশি হলে কী কী সতর্কতা অবলম্বন করতে হবে এবং তৎক্ষনাৎ ডাক্তারের পরামর্শ নেওয়ার ব্যপারে তারা সকলকে সচেতন করছে। স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষও পরিস্থিতির ওপর নজর রেখে স্কুলেই ২টি আইসোলেশন ওয়ার্ডের ব্যবস্থা করে রেখেছে। এদের এই সচেতনতা শিবির আগামী ৩১ শে মার্চ পর্যন্ত চলবে। অ্যাসে ইন্ডিয়ান মডেল স্কুলের এই উদ্যোগকে সাধুবাদ জানিয়েছেন করণদিঘি ব্লকের ‘ব্লক ডেভেলপমেন্ট অফিসার’ শ্রী বিজয় মুক্তান সাহেব। চলুন না আমরাও সবাই একটু সচেতন হই এবং ওপরকে করোনা সম্পর্কে সচেতন করে তুলি তাহলেই দেখবেন করোনা সমগ্র বিশ্ব থেকে নির্মূল হয়ে যাবে।
